Hi,

I would like to prepare for GMAT in 4-v months of time.

I have checked the "The Definitive GMAT Report Plan - 2016 Edition" posted by bb

I accept checked online that Princeton'southward "Cracking the GMAT Premium Edition with 6 Computer-Adaptive Practise Tests: 2017" is a good guide to starting time with prior to jumping to OG17.

But diverse study plans on this website haven't included it in the list.

one- I have ordered the Princeton book and information technology will arrive in 3-four days.

Should I cancel the order of the Priceton book mentioned above and gild something else instead?

2- I accept ordered the post-obit books every bit well and would these OG17 present similar data and questions or ownership the three is worth information technology?

Yes, absolutely.
If you are looking for an "all in" book, become for Kaplan Premiere. Its really a very good book with some awesome questions, specially the RC and CR section - short, crisp nonetheless helpful. It does lack an extensive coverage of SC... then likewise order Manhattan Prep Sentence Correction.
Both the above books will requite access to v Kaplan True cat and six MGMAT True cat - very powerful tool to measure out your progress in the next 3/4 months.

Yes, admittedly.
If you are looking for an "all in" book, go for Kaplan Premiere. Its really a very practiced book with some awesome questions, specially the RC and CR department - curt, crisp however helpful. Information technology does lack an extensive coverage of SC... and so also gild Manhattan Prep Sentence Correction.
Both the above books will requite access to 5 Kaplan Cat and 6 MGMAT CAT - very powerful tool to measure out your progress in the next three/4 months.

I have read that the Kaplan volume isn't as good as Princeton every bit it is simple and doesn't provide a true questions presented in the GMAT.

All reviews are very subjective.
But, in comparing to Princeton Review Corking the GMAT, Kaplan Premiere is undoubtedly good. [ to note nosotros are comparing simply 2 "all in one" book in the marketplace - Kaplan and Princeton Review]

Use MANHATTAN books for quant and official questions for practice.For verbal you tin become for E-GMAT.

I ended up ordering:

one- Kaplan GMAT Premier 2016 with 6 Practise Tests: Book + Online + DVD + Mobile (Kaplan Test Prep)
2- OG (OG+ OG Quant+ OG Veb)
3- Manhattan Quantitative Book Set (Guides #1,two,3,4,5)
4- Manhattan Sentence Correction Guide #8

I canceled the Princeton review.

I am aiming for mid 700's with 3 to 4 calendar month of studying but I'll meet how it goes

You have the best resources at your disposal, peculiarly the Manhattan Prep serial. Along with 5 Kaplan True cat and half dozen MGMAT Cat - you are all set up.
1 note : as you consider Kaplan True cat, don't get as well much carried abroad by their scores because they will overestimate your score a bit. But, overall a adept do, particularly their Verbal part.

Hi EMPOWERgmatRichC,

After creating an account and logging in, I downloaded the software to do the 2 True cat exams but I got stuff at the first page and "adjacent" button nor push "N" where working.

I decided to do the Pretest in Kaplan 2016! I scored lower than expected :/
48% percentile 530-580
Quant: 31/37 All the mistakes are of "DS" blazon (6 incorrect)
Verb: 23/41 Mistakes are from all types (18 wrong)

I was always excellent in Mathematics with Saturday Math 760/800 and GRE Math 165/170 (Didn't report for the ii). I read the solution for the starting time incorrect "DS" question and redid the residuum and got them right.

If I become all the Quant right, as per Kaplan book, the estimates class volition increase from 48% percentile (530-580) to 63% percentile (580-630) :/

That is not enough! I need to ameliorate my english language past at to the lowest degree xi more correct answers.

1- So could you recommend which book other than Manhattan Sentence Correction to look into for me to focus on the iii type of questions? Should I get the rest of the Manhattan English books and return the Math books to the supplier?
2- I have attached a snap shot for the Cat that got stuck, do you know whats the problem with it?

How-do-you-do Mekhdi,

I take tried Cracking The GMAT Premium Edition by Princeton and it was a decent for learning the nuts and good value for money particularly because it gives you lot access to 6 practise tests which contain some nice questions (however their scoring algorithm is a bit weird).

I call up it was a good idea to try on the Kaplan GMAT Premier 2017as they too come with 6 practise tests that are a flake more reliable than Princeton.

You should try out all the MGMAT guides they are astounding and cover the unabridged syllabus actually well. I must add that if y'all are specially looking to discover and better on your weak areas in quant; a subscription to GMATCLUB tests is the best way to do that. They are indeed phenomenal and volition not only pinpoint your weak areas but also help you improve on them.

If you are not happy with your progress in Verbal, effort out the e-gmat verbal online or the e-gmat verbal live course. They are both amazing courses peculiarly designed for non-natives. They offer about 25% of their courses for gratuitous so y'all can try out their free trial to decide which one you want to go for. Plus the due east-gmat Scholaranium which is included in both the courses is one of the best exact exercise tools in the market.
